Don’t you just love how busy the blue tits are? I see them every day in the hedgerows as I walk the dogs. I wanted to try and capture their rapid movements in this artwork. It just had to have the title “Swoop”.
This design is one of four pieces all about the particular behaviours or movements of British birds.
I tinted my original etching print with gems of colour using ink sticks by Derwent – a very lovely process is behind this collection of bird prints.
