"Charm" – goldfinch fine art print

That flash of red and gold makes the goldfinch such a beguiling little bird. The collective noun for a group of them is a”charm”, of course, so that was an easy title. They often flutter into our garden looking for teasel seeds and are acrobatic in their foraging habits.
This design is one of four pieces all about the particular behaviours or movements of British birds.
I tinted my original etching print with gems of colour using ink sticks by Derwent – so you can see I really enjoyed the process behind this collection of bird prints.
