On the Banks of the Wye – print

The allure of the woodlands in the gloaming inspired this image. Then the thought of all that interconnected life under trees and how trunks and canopies reflect on a river crept in. The Wye is close to my heart because it connects communities in the Welsh marches.
I used acrylic inks to create the drip art that represents the reflection and I have collaged an original etching of woodlands to create the atmospheric tree-scape above.
