You'll find Moccas Hill Woodland near Dorstone in Herefordshire. My family and I discovered it when we emerged from lockdown. It has special memories for us because of that. I was mesmerised by the way evening light filtered through the branches and foliage, creating a soft-focus effect in contrast to the sharply defined tree trunks.
To make this etching, I scratched into recycled plastic then worked ink into the scratched surface. The inked plate is run through a traditional printing press under damp archival paper.
