The title of this work is inspired by the poet Mary Oliver who wrote about trees:
“Around me the trees stir in their leaves and call out, “Stay awhile.” / The light flows from their branches.”
The tree silhouettes are etched and printed, then I used flowing inks on a large brush to create the swirling water marks onto collage paper.
